Georganne Kincer, RN, MSN

TASK III Nurse

Georganne received her Associate Degree in Nursing and Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Miami University’s School of Nursing. She received her Master’s of Nursing in Occupational Health and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Nursing. Georganne has been a student primary investigator and has participated in the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health and has supported University of Cincinnati’s Education and Research Center’s Targeted Research Training study related to firefighter heat stress and live-burn training since 2011. With more than 20 years experience as a nurse in long-term care, intensive care, and occupational health care nursing, her dissertation focus is on addressing firefighter deaths related to cardiovascular incidents. An occupational health nurse focuses on providing safe and healthy work environments for all employees and employers. Family caregivers are employees in their home environments providing care for family members in need.
