Linda Ntumba, RN, BSN, MSN
TASK III Nurse
Linda Ntumba, Cincinnati native entered the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing and Health directly out of high school. Her first official Registered Nurse position was at The Christ Hospital on the Adult Psychiatric unit. There, she transferred to the Substance Abuse/ Chemical Dependency unit into a management position for several years. She also transitioned to the Tri-Health Bethesda Base hospital Chemical Dependency Inpatient Program in a management position as well. She’s worked at Good Samaritan hospital in Geri-Psych and Geri-Rehabilitation population. She left the private sector to work with the government health care system at the Cincinnati VA medical center. She began at the VA on a Med/Surg. unit; She worked in Mental Health so many years and then found her way back into the Mental Health care line on the Acute Adult Psychiatric unit. In 2009, she entered Xavier University in Cincinnati in the “Master of Nursing – Informatics program”. She accepted a position in the Quality Management Department as a Utilization Review Nurse. Currently, she works as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati, in the RN to BSN program, teaching the Professional Nursing Informatics course online. In addition to her adjunct role, she works as a Nurse Intervener on the TASK III research team. She looks forward to supporting family caregivers of stroke survivors.
